Noisy play and vocalisations are important! The exploration sound is a prerequisite to talking and something we should be modelling in all play. The lovely “brrrr” lip trill sound we make when playing with cars has an added musical bonus too! It’s a healthy and age-appropriate vocal warm-up that also supports breath control.
